Set up the initial meeting with your mentee for 30 minutes

The mentee should send you the CV and Assessment of the Mentee's Overall Goals
​​

The objectives of the meeting are to set up the common goals through the mentor-mentee relationship; to determine the frequency of the scheduled meetings and mode of the meeting (in person, skype, e-mail, tel).
​
FOLLOWUP
MEETINGS

Typically, at least q 2 months check-in is recommended.
​​

Ask your mentee to complete the Personal Development Plan (PDP) and share it with you. ​Please ask your mentee to update and share it with you at each meeting as a monitoring tool for the overall progress of your mentee.

Semiannual meeting in-person to review the performance, projects, and other professional and personal issues is strongly recommended.
ANNUAL
MEETING

At the end of the calendar year, set up the in-person meeting of the performance review of the mentee.
​​

The program is completed annually. If you and your mentee agree to continue the program, let the mentee know and continue the activity cycle.
