Set up the initial meeting with your mentor for 30 minutes

You should send your mentor your updated CV and Assessment of the Mentee's Overall Goals​​​

The objectives of the meeting are to set up the common goals through the mentor-mentee relationship; to determine the frequency of the scheduled meetings and mode of the meeting (in person, skype, e-mail, tel).

FOLLOWUP
MEETINGS

Typically, at least q 2 months check-in is recommended. ​

Complete the Personal Development Plan (PDP) and share it with your mentor. ​Please update and share it with the mentor at each meeting.

Semiannual meeting in-person with your mentor to review your performance, projects, and other professional and personal issues is strongly recommended.
ANNUAL
MEETING

At the end of the calendar year, set up the in-person meeting of performance review with your mentor.

The program is completed annually. If you and your mentor agree to continue the program, let the mentor know and continue the activity cycle.
